With a growing proportion of the world’s out-of-school children and adolescents living in conflict-affected countries, education should be a priority for humanitarian and development donors. However, as CESDO describes, humanitarian aid systems neglect or prioritizes less the education of children and adolescents in countries affected by or emerging from conflict, and more and better targeted aid is needed.
